Given a much greater range than her rather pathetic husband who becomes king at her insistence (one can easily read this as a Shakespearean metaphor for Adam and Eve), Lady Macbeth is by far the most interesting character in the play and thanks to Boone we see her as the strong, calculating creature she ought to be."
